[Science Week 2016] Inspired by Science: women scientists tell their stories - YouTube Birkbeck, University of London

There was a point in these women’s lives when they knew science was the path they would follow. For some women, realisation came in childhood. For others, their studies (as traditional and mature students) led to the questions they wanted to solve. In all cases inspiration was guiding these women into work that has changed the lives of others. These scientists, with very different backgrounds and lives, tell their stories of how they became inspired to do the work they do now at Birkbeck.
